INFLATABLE STIRRUP ANKLE BRACE

INDICATIONS
For conditions that may benefit from
ankle inversion/eversion restriction,
such as:
•Acute mild to severe ankle sprains.
•Chronic ankle instability.
•Post-cast and post-walker support.
•Ankle injury rehabilitation and/orpost-
surgical use.
PERFORMANCE
The device provides inversion and
eversion restriction to the ankle.
CONTRAINDICATION
None known.
WARNINGS • PRECAUTIONS OF USE
The device should not be used in cases
where the injury requires absolute
immobilization or surgical procedure.
It's forbidden to drive a vehicle whilst
wearing the brace.
Inspect the device carefully before
applying it.
Do not wear for extended periods
without medical follow-up.
The orthosis must not be used in
direct contact with a damaged skin.
The orthosis is a single patient use
device. Do not use for multiple
patients.
When adjusting strap pay attention
to have the tightness firm but
comfortable.
Use footwear when walking outdoors
or during sportive activities.
Avoid walking with the splint without
footwear on slipper y surfaces,
particularly if the surface is wet
(bathroom).

The shoe size is to choose in accordance with the length of your foot.

If necessary, inflate air bladders for
additional compression and support.
Pay attention to not overinflate.
If any problems occur with the use of
this product, immediately contact your
medical professional.
The user and/or patient must
report any serious incident that has
occurred in relation to the device to
the manufacturer and the competent
authority of the Member State in which
the user and/or patient is established.

Adaptable anatomical shape, using
inflatable air cushions.
SET UP AND OPERATION
The first application must be
carried out by a qualified healthcare
professional to understand the correct
fitting and how to put the device on
properly. Subsequently, the product
should be put on the patient in the
same way by the user or a family
member or a friend.
1 - Adjust the distance near the heel (A)
in such a way that the lateral struts are
well-adjusted at each side of the foot.
Always wear a sock under the orthosis.
2 - Pre-inflate the cushions. In order
to do this, remove the valve located
above the cushion and insert the tube
that is provided; start inflating and the
tighten the valve again before refolding
and then glue it back against the shell.
3 - Set the shells of each side of the
foot (B) so as to cover the malleolus.
The rivets must be at the inner side
of the leg. Straps must be tied from
back to front.
4 - Tighten the lower strap well (C).
5 - Close the upper strap by starting
from back. The strapping must be firm
but comfortable (D).
