3.5 Refrigerant pipig work
1) Caution on the pipe handling
Protect the open end of the pipe against dust and moisture.
All pipe bends should be as gentle as possible. Use a pipe
bender for bending.

Be sure to
place a cap.
If no flare cap is
available, cover the
flare mouth with
tape to keep dirt or
water out.
2) Be sure to insulate both the gas and liquid piping. Use
separate thermal insulation pipes for gas and liquid
refrigerant pipes. See the figure below.

For local insulation, be sure to insulate local piping
all the way into the pipe connections inside the unit.
Exposed piping may cause condensation or may
cause burns when touched.
Make sure that no oil remains on plastic parts of the
decoration panel (optional equipment).
Oil may cause degradation and damage to plastic
parts.
