OBSERVED FAULTS, POSSIBLE CAUSES AND REMEDIES
OBSERVED FAULT
• The fan doesn't start
• The fan starts but there is not
enough heat
• The space heater stops
CAUSE
• No electrical current
• Winding of motor burnt or
interrupted
• Motor bearings blocked
• Wrong setting of safety device
• Defective control device
• Air temperature too high

REMEDY
• Check mains, it should be:
EK 3 A: 230V ~ 50Hz
EK 9 A - EK 15 A: 400V 3 ~ 50Hz
• Check proper positioning and functioning of switch
• Replace motor
• Replace bearings
• Check correct setting of heater control (make sure
selected temperature is higher than room temperature)
• Replace control device
• Disconnect the fan, let it cool down and fix the trouble
which caused overheating. In models EK 3 A and EK 9 A,
the reset button is placed on the machine cover, in
models EK 15 A, it is placed on its back.
