To measure special parts or hard-to-reach points,
your RUGOSURF 10G can be mounted on a
standard support by means of the 8 mm dia.
clamping rod provided with the roughness gauge.
Clamping rod must be screwed on the bottom face
of the gauge unit.

Choosing a Cut-Off

To access this menu option, select
Cut-off = 0,25 mm
To change current selection, move the cursor to desired value.
The traverse length lt depends on the selected cut-off.
lt = (number of cut-offs+1) x
If, for space reason, this length is too long, you may change it by reducing the number of cut-offs used
for the measurement.
The number usually selected is 5 cut-offs, but you may choose between 2 and 10 cut-offs provided
you've selected Cut-off length = 0,25 mm or 0,8

The two extra accessories with V-recesses allow
cylinders having a least diameter of 80 mm to be
measured.
Both are clamped on the front face and the back face
of the gauge unit.
