The detection of the DCF signal and its evaluation can last a few minutes.
Do not place the weather station next to electric/electronic devices; do not place it near cables, wall
outlets or metal parts.
A bad reception can also be caused by, e.g. metallised insulated glass windows, reinforced concrete
constructions, coated special wallpaper or installation in basements.
For more information about DCF reception, see chapter 10.
• Now the display for the air pressure units blinks on the bottom display.
• Select the air pressure units ("mmHg", "hPa/mBar" or "InHg") with the buttons " " (16) or " " (18) on the back
of the weather station and briefly press the button "SET" (7) on the rear to save the settings. In general, you should
select "hPa/mBar" (hectopascal/millibar).
• Afterwards, the display for the altitude units blinks ("meters" or "feet"). Select the desired unit with the buttons " "
(16) or " " (18) on the back of the weather station and briefly press the button "SET" (7) on the rear to save the
settings.
• The value for the altitude blinks now. Set the approximate altitude of your region with the buttons " " (16) or " "
(18) on the rear of the weather station. For quick adjustment, keep the corresponding button depressed for a longer
period of time.
Save the value; briefly press the button "SET" (7) on the rear.
• Now the weather station measures the air pressure and indicates this on the display (e.g. "1016.4 hPa/mBar").
• The reception symbol for the outdoor sensors blinks on the bottom right of the display.
• If "LAND EINST." (set country) appears on the top display, set your home country with the buttons " " (1) and " "
(2) on the right side of the weather station (e.g. "D/GER" for Germany) and confirm the setting by briefly pressing
the button "SET" (3) on the side.
Now the display shows "STADT EINST." (set city). With the buttons " " (1) and " " (2), you can select a city near
to your place of residence.
Briefly confirm the setting by pressing "TEST" (8). The city is saved afterwards and a small tick mark appears above
the city name:
You can select altogether 5 cities; of course, you can also make this setting later on. It is also possible
to delete a city already selected for display and save another one (see chapter 11.de and 11.e).
If you do not set the country and the city as described above, the weather station automatically sets
"Germany" for the country and "Frankfurt/Main" for the city.
• With the buttons " " (1) and " " (2) on the right side, you can select a additional cities and saver them with the
button "TEST" (8).
• Press the button "SET" (3) on the right side of the weather station. The settings are saved and the display shows
