Setting-Up Your Unit
Insert Battery
The battery compartment is on the underside of the
unit.
Insert 1 battery (R6 or LR 6), 1,5 Volt according
to the illustration in the compartment.
Important: If the battery are not inserted in
correct polarity it can lead to a build-up of heat
and leaking of the batteries.

Only use high quality leakproof batteries of the
given specification (see "Technical Data").
If the unit is not to be used over a prolonged pe-
riod of time remove battery.
The unit shows the following function symbols:
battery fully loaded
battery partially loaded
replace battery soon
flashing! No further measurements
possible; replace battery.
Care for your environment!
Used batteries and recharching units do not be-
long into the household dustbin.
They can be deposited at special refuse centres
for used batteries.
