5 Operation
5.1
Circuit symbol and interlocking
The contact variant and numbering shown is an example for
SIN 1150 M1 and serves to explain the contact position for each
switching action!
Actuation type of the guard locking, spring interlock: Spring
force (Figure 5 a EN ISO 14119)

Mechanical releases

Before restarting normal operations, the protective function of
the auxiliary release must be guaranteed!
Auxilary release
WAR NING
The auxiliary release should only be operated by means of he
WAF 4 hexagon socket if the latching device fails. The access
point must be sealed after installation (e.g. with locking com-
pound).
1. Undo lock screw (TX10).
2. Turn release element by 90° with hexagon socket (SW 4). The
actuator can now be withdrawn. Turn release element back to
original position.
3. Screw in lock screw and seal with screw locking compound.
(M = 0,5 Nm)
4. The contacts
are opened.

The guard is closed by spring force when the energy is OFF. With
energy ON (solenoid under voltage), the guard locking is un-
locked.
Actuation type of the guard locking, magnetic interlock: En-
ergy ON (Figure 5 b EN ISO 14119)
The guard is closed when energy is ON (solenoid under voltage).
When the power is OFF, the guard locking is unlocked.

Emergency Release SIN 9005 M
Releasing
1. Turn release element by
90° in clockwise direction.
2. The actuator can now be
withdrawn.
Resetting
1. Turn release element in an-
ticlockwise direction up to
the "Reset" mark.
2. Insert key.
3. Turn release element as far
as it will go in anticlock-
wise direction.
4. Remove key.
