Positioning and measurement • The printed sheet should always be placed on a stable measuring base • Position the DensiEye on the measuring field using the measuring diaphragm • By lowering the measuring head, the measuring diaphragm is pulled back and a measurement is initiated • The measuring head can be lifted off again once the measuring results have been displayed, or a message 14. Calibration • The prerequisite for precise measuring results is the calibration of the device using the relevant calibration card • The density standard and the filter on the calibration card must match the device data • Paper white base or absolute white base must be selected before calibration using the Function Settings menu bar in the main menu • Select the Calibration function in the main menu • Depending on the white base, “Calibration Paper” or “Calibration Absolute” will be displayed in the header row • The relevant reference values for paper white or absolute white standard on the calibration card should be used, depending on the white base selected • Calibrate the device according to the instructions given in the help bar...

Positionierung und Messung • Das Druckerzeugnis muss immer auf einer stabilen Messebene aufliegen • Das DensiEye auf dem Messfeld positionieren mittels der Messblende • Durch Absenken des Messkopfes wird die Messblende zurückgezogen und eine Messung ausgelöst • Nach dem Erscheinen des Messresultates oder einer Meldung kann der Messkopf wieder angehoben werden 14. Kalibration • Voraussetzung für genaue Messresultate ist die Kalibration des Gerätes mit der zugehörigen Kalibrationskarte • Der Dichte Standard und das Filter auf der Kalibrationskarte müssen mit den Gerätedaten übereinstimmen • Papierweiss- oder Absolutweiss-Bezug muss vor der Kalibration gewählt werden über die Menüzeile Funktionseinstellungen im Hauptmenü • Die Funktion Kalibration im Hauptmenü wählen • Je nach Weissbezug erscheint in der Kopfzeile Kalibration Papier oder Kalibration Absolut • Je nach Weissbezug sind die entsprechenden Referenzwerte für Papierweiss- oder Absolutweiss-Bezug auf der Kalibrationskarte zu verwenden • Gerät kalibrieren anhand der Anweisungen in der Hilfezeile • X-Rite empfiehlt die Kalibration mittels Dichtemessungen zu prüfen • X-Rite empfiehlt nur eine Kalibrationskarte zu verwenden, wenn mehrere Geräte kalibriert werden müssen ®...
