Replacing the Fine Particle Filter
Examine and replace the fine particle filter (6) on a regular basis,
at least once a year. It must always be replaced if the dust draw-
en
er symbol (33, Fig. 2) blinks, despite a new dust bag having just
been replaced.
There is a risk of increased exposure to dust when replacing the
fine filter.
That's why the following measures must be taken:
⇒ Keep the plastic bag ready that contains the new filter.
⇒ Keep an additional dust extraction device or suction tube from
another workbench extraction unit ready.
⇒ Wear at least an FFP2 mask for respiratory protection.
⇒ Pull the upper front panel (4, Fig. 1) forward and off.
⇒ Turn the fine particle filter in an anti-clockwise direction to re-
lease it.
⇒ Pull the fine particle filter straight forwards.
⇒ Place the fine filters immediately in the plastic bag and seal the bag tightly to prevent dust escaping.
⇒ Ensure proper disposal.
⇒ Install a new fine filter and fully insert it over the holder bar (25).
⇒ Turn the fine particle filter in a clockwise direction and hand- tighten it in place.
⇒ Inspect the seal on the front panel for damage and replace it, as required.
⇒ Snap the front panel back in place.
⇒ Use the additional dust extraction device to suction up dust that has been released.
