4.1 Connecting the AS-i bus/load voltage
PLEASE NOTE
Voltage supply of the valves via the AS-i bus is only
possible with type CPA..-ASI. Always supply valve terminal
type CPA..-ASI-Z with a separate 24 V load voltage.
Use an external protective earth low voltage (PELV) power unit
of protection class 3 with 24 V operating voltage according to
the technical specifications. Observe the maximum current con-
sumption of all simultaneously switched outputs.
Alternatively the Festo AS-i combi power unit can be used, by
which both operating voltages are supplied.
