serted and glued into the outlet of the Aqualift F.
The outlet pressure pipe should be laid above the
backwater level (normally defined as ground level)
and then immediately enlarged to a DN 70 venti-
lated pipe. Non certified pipe such as HT pipe
should not be used as a pressurized outlet.
In the case that the outlet pressure pipe is to be
laid in the concrete slab it should be de-coupled
with the slab in order to prevent any sound / vibra-
tion from the pipe to be transferred to the concrete
slab as well as prevent any damage to the con-
nections.
2.3.4 Conduit connection
Provide a cable tube for later retrofitting. If this
cable tube has to be installed in the upper sec-
tion, drill a hole with the KESSEL hole saw (arti-
cle number 50101) or a standard Ø 60 mm hole
saw and put in the pipe sealing gasket (art.
850114).
A DN 50 conduit pipe should be laid from the con-
trol unit to the Aqualift F in order to properly run
the electrical cables as well as the air pressure
hose for the pressure switch from the control unit
to the Aqualift F (see Illustration 6). The conduit
can be inserted into the DN50 gasketed conduit
opening in the upper portion of the chamber base.
This conduit pipe should not be air tight in order
to prevent any condensation water from building
up in the conduit pipe. Conduit pipes should not
be installed with 90 degree bends or corners – in
order to make a 90 degree bend, use two 45 de-
gree fittings which will ease inserted or pulling ca-
bles through the conduit pipe.
Caution
The air pressure hose should be laid with a con-
stant slope from the Aqualift F to the control unit
in order to allow any condensation water to drain
out of the air hose.
2.3.5 Ventilation pipe
A dedicated ventilation pipe must be connected to
the Aqualift F. This ventilation pipe should be open
to the ambient air in order to equalize any pres-

sure which may build up in the system. The size
of the ventilation pipe shall be at least DN 70. To
prevent any odour nuisances from the ventilation
pipe – it should be run to outside ambient air (out-
doors). Connect the ventilation pipe as seen in Il-
lustration 7. The Aqualift F body has been
equipped with a gasketed DN 70 ventilation pipe
connection. If desired a DN 70 to DN 100 transi-
tion piece (Article number 27602) can be used.
