coated with a primer such as PCI 303 primer.
After the primer has dried a tiles adhesive such
as PCI Flex Adhesive is for use with thin tiles
which may require a significant adhesive height
to reach the cover surface. For laying of thicker
tiles a self adhesive silicone (such as PCI Silco-
ferm S) can be used which has a very thin adhe-
sive layer.

Installing granite / marble:
The gray plastic recessed surface should first be
coated with a primer such as PCI 303. After this
has dried the natural stones can be laid with PCI
Carrament or Carrafern.
2.3.1 Side inlet connections
2.3 Connections
The system comes equipped with a DN 100 late-
ral inlet connection hole. Inlet drainage pipes to
the system should have a minimum slope of 2 %.
Caution
Do not drill any holes into the pump chamber. Im-
properly drilling a hole can cause irreparable da-
mage (see Illustration 5).
2.3.2 Outlet connection
The drainage pipe should only be connected to
the Aqualift F after the pump has been installed
(See Section 2.4). The connection between the
integrated drain cover and the storage tank is
handled by the included internal drain pipe con-
nection. This internal drain pipe connection should
be inserted into the pump's chamber and secured

with the red locking clasp. In the case that a clo-
sed cover is used (without an integrated drain) the
opening in the chamber should be closed with the
included plug.
In the case that extension sections are used for
deeper installations, an extension between the
covers drain and the chambers inlet hole is requi-
red – this can be handled with an on-site sourced
DN 70 HT drainage pipe (OD 75mm).

X < 115 mm – shorten the inlet connection to the
required height
X > 120 mm – the inlet connection needs to be
lengthened with a DN 70 pipe.
A) Shorten by a maximum of 15 mm
B) Shorten by a maximum of 100 mm
2.3.3 Outlet pressure connection
Note: Connection of pressure pipe to system must
carried out without tension.
If necessary use KESSEL- Pressure pipe set.
Outlet pressure connection: 1 ½ inch exterior
thread. The outlet pressure connection set (Article
Number 28040) includes a 5 meter long pressure
hose with an outer diameter of 40 mm and an ad-
apter with screw connection. A PVC pressure pipe
with an outer diameter of 40mm can also be in-
