1. Place the device on a level and steady
surface.
2. Place the device with a minimum distance of
50 centimeter to any object or wall and 100
centimeter to the ceiling.
3. Do not place the device immediately below a
socket outlet.
4. Make sure the ON/OFF knob is in the OFF
position (Figure 5, pos. 2).
5. Put the power plug (Figure 5, pos. 3) into an
earthed wall socket that is easily accessible.
Use an earthed wall socket with a minimum
power of 1000 Watt.

CAUTION
When the device is turned on it can give off smoke and an odor. This is normal
and will disappear after a few minutes.
1. Turn the ON/OFF knob to the ON position
(Figure 6, pos. 2).
2. The light indicator (Figure 6, pos. 3) starts to
flash.
3. Turn the thermostat knob to the High setting
(Figure 6, pos. 1).
4. When the desired temperature is reached,
turn the thermostat knob to Low until you
hear a click. The device will automatically
switch on and off to maintain temperature.
