12 Maintenance
CAUTION! Device installation and
maintaining must be performed by
specialist technical staff only.
12.1 Factory Default
It is possible to reset to the factory default settings.
The effect of the Factory Default procedure is the
same obtained through the web interface (Hard Reset
button).
To execute the default factory procedure, you need
to access the DIP switch (S1) on the connectors' card (
7.1.1 Connector board description, page 18).
Follow the procedure below:
• Disconnect the power supply to the unit.
• Open the base of the product (6.6.1 Opening the
base of the product, page 15).
• Set SW1 to ON of DIP switch S1.

• Assemble the upper body (7.2 Installation of the
upper body, page 22).
• Power the unit. Wait for 2 minutes.
• Disconnect the power supply to the unit.
• Open the base of the product (6.6.1 Opening the
base of the product, page 15).
• Reset switch SW1 to OFF of DIP switch S1.

• Assemble the upper body (7.2 Installation of the

• Power the unit.
Once the factory default procedure has

terminated, you need to configure the unit
as described in the relevant chapter (9.1
Default IP address, page 24).
During the normal operation of the product
the dip-switches must be set as shown in
the figure (Fig. 39, page 28).
