Switching the MAHLE ebikemotion system on and
off

Activation
• Briefly press the control button (fig. 26) on the top tube of the iWoc
Remote.
If the LED lights up white, the e-bike system is switched on. The LED then
shows the current charge status of the e-bike system (fig. 27).
Deactivation
• Press and hold the control button on the top tube of the iWoc Remote
until the LED extinguishes. The e-bike system is switched off.

Charge status display
After switching on the e-bike system, the LED of the iWoc Remote shows
the current charge status of your e-bike (fig. 27).
If the LED on the iWoc Remote lights up or flashes in PINK after the e-bike
system is switched on, a system error has occurred.

NOTE
Risk of damage!
If the LED on the iWoc Remote lights up or flashes in PINK (fig. 28) after
the e-bike system is switched on, a system error has occurred.
» Do not ride the e-bike.
» Consult a Schindelhauer or MAHLE specialist dealer.

Setting the assistance level
You can choose between 3 assistance levels.
• Briefly press the control button (fig. 29) on the top tube of the iWoc
Remote.
The LED starts flashing. The colour indicates the current assistance level
of the e-bike system (fig. 30).
• By briefly pressing the control button again, you can now cycle through
the three assistance modes.
If the LED flashes white, the assistance is switched off. After a short time,
the LED changes back to display the current state of charge.

Switching the lighting on and off
1. Briefly press the control button (fig. 29) on the iWoc Remote; the LED
starts flashing.
2. Keep the control knob pressed until the LED lights up yellow. The
lighting is switched on.
To switch off the lighting, repeat the procedure. Another yellow flash
indicates that the lighting has switched off.
If the battery charge has been used up, the electric drive will
switch off. The lighting is supplied with power for another
hour. Before starting your journey, especially in the dark,
make sure that the battery charge status can guarantee the
lighting for the duration of your planned journey.
25.6
Bluetooth® pairing and notification
When you switch on your e-bike system, it automatically connects to
the smartphone to which it was last connected and which is currently
within range (Bluetooth® must be activated). When you are connected
or disconnected from your device, the LED in the button of the iWoc ONE
Remote lights up blue (fig. 31). When you are connected or disconnected
from your device, the LED in the button of the iWoc ONE Remote lights
up blue.
