INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This manual must be translated (according to regulations) by the dealer, in the language of the country where the equipment is used. This
manual must be read and understood by the user before using the PPE.
The test methods described in the standards do not represent actual usage conditions. It is therefore important to study each work
situation and that each user is fully trained in different techniques in order to know the limits of the various devices.
The use of this PPE is restricted to qualified persons properly trained or working under the direct responsibility of a competent superior.
The user's safety depends on the continuing efficacy of the PPE, its strength and the proper understanding of the instructions in this
manual.
The user is personally responsible for any use of this PPE which does not comply with the requirements of this manual and in the case of
non-compliance with the security measures applicable to PPE specified by this manual.
The use of this PPE is restricted to persons in good health, certain medical conditions may affect the safety of the user, in case of doubt
contact a physician.
Adhere strictly to the instructions for use, verification, maintenance and storage.
If the user is in a fall risk area, this product cannot be used alone, it becomes inseparable from a comprehensive fall protection system
(EN363), whose function is to minimize the risk of injury from falls.
Before any use, refer to the recommendations for use for each component of the system.
This adjustable lanyard is a work positioning system.
WARNING:
THE ADJUSTABLE LANYARD IS NOT A GRIP BODY DEVICE, ONLY THE HARNESS IS RESERVED FOR THIS FUNCTION
(EN361). THE ADJUSTABLE LANYARD MUST NOT BE USED FOR THE PREVENTION NOR FOR THE ARREST OF FALLS.
In case of a fall risk, it is necessary to supplement this system with a collective or personal restraint or protection device against falls from
a height (EN363).
The adjustable lanyard can not be used connected to a work support belt (EN358) by connectors (EN362).
In these cases, follow the instructions described in their own manual.

ESTABLISHMENT AND/ OR ADJUSTMENTS: ⑫
Before any PPE implementation operation, set up a rescue plan to deal with any emergency that may occur during the operation.
This PPE can only be used by one person at a time.

Connect the connector of the tensioner to the right side anchor of the work support belt ④, place the rope around the work structure,
connect the rope connector to the about to left side anchor of the work support belt ⑤. Warning: reverse the direction for left handed
users).
Adjust the length and tension of the rope with the tensioner so as to provide a stable working position and limit free movement up to a
maximum of 0.6 m. The adjustment completed, check that any fall is limited to 0.5 m. To lengthen the rope grab the rope with your left
hand (right for the left handed) at a point between the tensioner and the work structure. Catch the tensioner wheel with your right hand
(left for the left handed) and pull. Slightly tighten the rope by a controlled deflection of the user's body until it lengthens. Release the wheel
to lock the rope in the tensioner ⑦.
To shorten the rope: to release the rope, pull the free end of the rope with the right hand (left for the left handed), in the direction of the
work structure by tilting the body of the user in the direction of the work structure ⑧. When the setting is set reached, release the end of
the rope and move back into position so that the rope hangs again.
