2. Demount front wheel and mudguard according to the vehicle manufacturer's instruction. Remove
original steering damper and corresponding parts. The following parts will be used furthermore:
2 pc. Washer
3 pc. Foam-washer w/ bushing
1 pc. Bolt M8x40
1 pc. Plastic-cover, round
4. To avoid any contact between steering damper and crankcase as well as the slider-tubes, it's
necessary to check the clearance while steering fully to the left and to the right. If there is contact
the body-clamp needs to be readjusted.
Please assure that the steering damper is not used as a steering stop!
5. Remount mudguard and front wheel according to the vehicle manufacturer's instruction. Check for
contact again over the whole steering angle with suspension moving the whole stroke.
Check all bolted connections at last and start with lowest damping for first ride!
