6.5 SPOT WELDING PARAMETERS SA-
VIG/RESET
• Once the welding parameters have been
set, set "0" with the key (10). Keep the key
pressed until the display (1) turns on comple-
tely.
• To reset the parameters, keep the key (10)
pressed during the start-up phase until the di-
splay (1) switches off completely.

7. SPOT WELDING

7.1 MANUAL
• Make contact between the tool on the gun
and the metal sheet.
• Press the gun trigger to start welding.
7.2 AUTOMATIC
• Make contact between the tool on the gun
and the metal sheet.
• The generator will automatically detect the
contact and generate a welding point within
less than 1 second.
• To generate a second point, it is necessary
to break the contact during at least ½ second,
then make a new contact.
7.2.1 SELECTION OF SHORT-CIRCUIT
DETECTION TIME
In this unit it is possible to choose betwe-
en two time options for the detection of the
shortcircuit (time from the contact of the gun
with the workpiece to the welding point ge-
neration). The selected option is shown by
a point on the left bottom side of the Mode
Dispaly (1).
Point ON = long time
Point OFF = short time
• In automatic mode, set "0" on the display
(1) with the Mode key (10), press the key (12)
to set the short or long time for automatic wel-
ding.
Left dot of display (1) on = long spot
time, 1 ''
Left dot of display (1) off = fast spot
time, 200m ''
The machine keeps in memory the last se-
lected time option.

8. DISPLAY READING

P - T
Torch button test: when the torch button is
pressed, the displays show P - t. If the di-
splays keep showing P - t even when trigger

is released, the torch trigger is short-circuited.
O - T
Overtemperature alarm, indicator light (4) on.

• 230V power supply: right dot on display (1)
is on
• 400V power supply: right dot on display (2)
