5. GUN CONNECTION
• Insert power plug of the gun on the socket
(8) and turn clock-wise until it is tight. Con-
nect gun trigger connector to the 3 pin con-
nection socket (9).
6. UNIT SETUP
• Turn unit ON thru the power switch on the
back side of the unit. The display will show
0, Power On Pilot Lamp (3) will light on and
displays will be activated.
6.1 MANUAL/AUTOMATIC MODE
SELECTION
• Select Manual or Automatic Mode. To se-
lect the Automatic Mode press the Key (11).

6.2 QUICK EARTH CONNECTION
• Good connection is obtained by removing
the paint, grease and oil from the sheet whe-
re the ground is to be connected to.
• Act on the Mode Selection key (10) till num-
ber 1 will appear on the Functioning Mode Di-
splay (1).
• Lay the quick earth mass on the point whe-
re you want to weld it.
• Touch the metal sheet with the gun and
press the gun trigger if you are working in
manual mode. If you are working in Auto-
matic Mode once the gun touches the metal
sheet it will be enough to wait and earth mass
welding will be automatic.
• Turn the ring nut of the quick earth mass till
it gets in touch with the metal sheet. To remo-
ve the quick earth mass continue turning the

ring nut till it comes off .
Note: It is compulsory to connect the
quick earth mass to doors or tops, when
working on them, in order to prevent cur-
rent passing through hinges.
6.3 TOOL SELECTION
• According to the type of work you are going
to perform act on the Mode Selection key (11)
to select the desired tool till the corresponding
number will appear on the Functioning Mode
Display (1):
Tool 2: Straightening out using the
hammer, stars or the dent pulling
clamp
Tool 3: Small repair or welding of
nails for straightening out
Tool 4: Electrode for metal pressing

Tool 5: Carbon electrode for tempe-
ring
6.4 WELDING CURRENT REGULATION
• Welding current sets up automatically with
an average default value shown in the left di-
splay (2). If you need to increase or decrease
it, press the Adjustment Keys (11) and (12).
The current varies from a minimum value (L
on the display) to a maximum value (H on
the display) passing through 9 intermediate
steps.
