Before fixing the dual-technology outdoor movement detector, check the possible settings, on pages 11 to 16,
which will help you choose the ideal location.
The dual-technology outdoor movement
detector has a pullout tamper protection strip.
The dual-technology outdoor movement detector
must be fixed to a flat surface; there is a risk that
the sirens will become activated when the alarm is
armed if the tamper protection is not correctly fixed
flat against the wall.
Do not leave any object or obstacle within a
range of 1 m around the dual-technology
outdoor movement detector.
Do not fix the baseplate on a metal wall or near sources of interference (electricity meter) or
ventilation.
1 Fix the baseplate to the wall using the anchors and fixing screws supplied.
Ensure the detector is fixed the right way (UP).
