Adjusting the treadmill
Place the treadmill on a flat surface. Allow
the treadmill to run at a speed of 6-8 kph and
check if it is pulling to one side.
If the treadmill is pulling to the right, remove
the dead-man's switch and turn off the
treadmill. Turn the right adjustment screw
1/4 revolution clockwise, restart the treadmill
and check if it is now running straight.
Repeat the above until the treadmill is
running dead straight and in the middle.
See figure A.

If the treadmill is pulling to the left, remove
the dead-man's switch and turn off the
treadmill. Turn the left adjustment screw 1/4
revolution clockwise, restart the treadmill
and check if it is now running straight.
Repeat the above until the treadmill is
running dead straight and in the middle.
See figure B.
The treadmill will gradually become looser
over time. Tighten the treadmill by turning
both adjustment screws 1/4 revolution
clockwise and restart the treadmill. Stand on
the treadmill and check if it is tight enough.
Repeat the above until the treadmill is
tightened sufficiently.
See figure C.
