12. Never operate the winch if the cable shows any signs of weakening, is
knotted or kinked.
13. Do not cross over or under the cable while under load.
14. Do not move vehicle with cable extended and attached to load to pull
it. The cable could snap.
15. Apply blocks to vehicle when parked on an incline.
16. Re-spool cable properly.
UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the
missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a malfunction
and personal injury.

Carefully remove the winch from the package.
a. Retain packing material until you have carefully inspected and
satisfactorily installed and operated the winch.
2.
Inspect the parts carefully to make sure winch was not damaged
while shipping.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

MOUNTING
Mounting structure must be capable of withstanding
loads within the capacity of the winch (see
Specifications). For increased strength and safety, this
winch should be mounted with three 3/8 in. or M10
bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts (Fig. 2).
HANDLE
Install the handle (#28) on the shaft bolt (#13) and secure with a lock nut.
