Allow hot appliances and accessories, especially
the micro-fibre cleaning cloth, too cool down before
touching them. Only carry the appliance by its han-
dle.

1.4 Re: Power supply

The appliance is operated with electrical power,
which means there is always a risk of electric shock.
You must therefore observe the following:
Make sure that the steam base always rests on the surface
to be cleaned during operation. Never lay the appliance on its
side or operate it in the air. Otherwise, liquid may flow into the
motor and cause a short circuit.
Keep the steam base away from the power cord when in
operation. Power cords must not come into contact with any
sources of heat or moisture. Otherwise there is a risk of dam-
age to the power cord which may lead to an electric shock.
Always take hold of the plug when you wish to disconnect
the plug from the mains socket. Never pull on the power cord.
Never carry the appliance by its power cord. It may become
damaged.
Always completely uncoil the power cord before use. Make
sure that the power cord is not kinked, pinched, or rolled over
and make sure it does not come into contact with heat sourc-
es.
