Cleaning the diaphragm
If the diaphragm is dirty and is preventing calibration of the sensor you can
try to clean the diaphragm gently.
First dismantle the sensor as described in the sensor dismantling section.
Observe safety guidelines!
Removal of surface contamination
Removal of lime deposits
Now fill the diaphragm cap with electrolyte, run in and recalibrate (see section
5 "Assembly", section 7.1 "Run-in Period" and section 7.2 "Calibration").
Replace the diaphragm
If calibration is no longer possible after cleaning the diaphragm, or if the
diaphragm is damaged it must be replaced (see section 5 "Assembly").

10 Repairs

The sensor can only repaired by the manufacturer. Please return it to
ProMinent in the original packaging. Prepare the sensor beforehand as
described in section 11 "Decommissioning")!

Check the sensor display value at the controller using an appropriate
chlorine dioxide measuring system (e.g. DPD-1).
Recalibrate the sensor if necessary (see section 7.2 "Calibration").
Rinse the diaphragm under a gentle stream of cold water.
Place the diaphragm cap in 1 % hydrochloric acid (e. g. overnight).
Rinse the diaphragm cap with plenty of water.
