STEP::01

CHARGING THE BATTERIES

FIRST THINGS FIRST, the Remote Trainer needs its batteries charged before you can use it. While your system
is charging, read the entire Operating Guide available online at www.sportdog.com to become familiar with
your system.
TO CHARGE THE REMOTE TRANSMITTER
1.
Connect the corresponding charge connector to the Charging Jack.
2.
Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
3.
Charge the Remote Transmitter for 2 hours. It is not harmful to let the unit charge more than 2 hours.
4.
When charging is complete, as indicated by the full battery icon, remove the charge connector.
TO CHARGE THE COLLAR RECEIVER
1.
Lift the rubber cover protecting the Charging Jack.
2.
Connect the corresponding charge connector to the Charging Jack.
3.
Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
4.
Charge the Collar Receiver for 2 hours. It is not harmful to let the unit charge more than 2 hours.
5.
When charging is complete, as indicated by the Indicator Light blinking green, remove the charge connector
and replace the rubber cover.
NOTE: Depending on the frequency of use, the approximate battery life between charges is 20-40 hours for the
Remote Transmitter, and 50-70 hours for the Collar Receiver.
