Measurement of the PEAK value (100ms)
- The current PEAK value (100ms) corresponds to the average of the 4 greatest 100ms
samples, of the same sign.
- When PEAK is selected, the
and rough value, by allocating to them the + sign and - sign respectively (see figures A,
B and C). If these buttons are not pressed, the PEAK value (100ms) displayed corres-
ponds to the greatest absolute value measured, positive or negative.
NB: The max PEAK value ( 1ms) is accessible on RECORD mode
(see chapter RECORD - PEAK).
Measurement of crest factor CF
Accessible in AC and AC + DC modes
Crest factor CF =PEAK value
For reference, a sinusoidal signal has a CF of 1.414.
Measurement of RIPPLE
Only accessible in DC mode
RIPPLE = peak value - trough value

Hz: frequency measurement

- Press this button once: Hz is displayed
The secondary display gives the frequency of the measured current or voltage.
- Press the button again: return to the preceding function.
NB: The frequency is accessible on harmonic measurement; in this case the frequency of
each harmonic is displayed automatically during scan harmonic by harmonic (pressing
buttons
On RECORD mode with time and date configuration, a second press on the Hz button
displays the relative time (see Time chapter).
