To allow you to familiarise yourself with your clamp, the functions and the display are briefly
described below.
The following chapter " Operating procedures " explains each function in detail.

CLAMPING THE CABLE

Jaws
They clamp the cable to measure AC and DC CURRENTS
The jaw face has a non-pinch conductor feature.
The red colour was chosen to identify the potentially dangerous zone on current
measurement.
Centring marks
Three marks indicate the reference position of the conductor inside the magnetic circuit.
NB: The position of the cable in the jaws is of no importance due to the presence of two
diametrically opposite Hall effect cells.
The special design of the magnetic circuit offers a high clamping capacity and satisfies the
majority of high current applications.
A 2 busbars 50 x 5 mm
B 1 busbar 80 x 5 mm
C 1 cable Æ 50 mm
Reminder: The clamp must only enclose one phase conductor, which can be physically
subdivided into 2 smaller cross-sections. In principle, the clamp can not measure the
current in a conductor that includes the live cable and the neutral cable.
Guard
The non-slip guard, around the outside of the clamp, protects the user, when clamping
a cable, from accidental contact with an uninsulated conductor.
(In conformity with standard IEC 1010-2-032)
Trigger
To open the jaws
