4.7 DC ZERO : Zero reset on DC current

After a current or power measurement (DC or AC + DC), if the display does not return to zero (presence of a DC
component due to the residual magnetism of the magnetic circuit or the temperature shift), proceed with an
automatic zero reset :
- A press and HOLD on the DC zero / HOLD button : "dc-0" is displayed on the middle display, the lower display
tends to zero.
- When the minimum value is reached, release the button to return to normal mode.

4.8 SMOOTH : Filtered value

- Press this button once : SMOOTH is displayed.
The digital values are filtered (over 3 seconds), which has the effect of attenuating display instabilities on
fluctuating signals.
- A second press resets the clamp to normal mode.
NB : SMOOTH mode is not accessible on HOLD - RECORD-PAUSE.
On RECORD mode, press the SMOOTH button to reinitialise RECORD mode, i.e. to cancel the previously
recorded values and restart RECORD mode.

4.9 AC / DC

This button allows selection of the measurement mode, by successive presses.

4.12 CF : Crest Factor

Accessible on voltages and currents, in AC and AC + DC modes
Reminder :
- the crest factor CF = PEAK value
- for reference, a sinusoidal signal has a CF of 1.414.
HOLD held : A AC/DC → dc 0
Normal mode → SMOOTH
AC + DC → AC → DC
