13.2 Incorrect and Improper Use
The UNIDRIVE working device must not be used for the transport of more than one person or for the
lowering or lifting of loads. The specified load-bearing capacity (maximum 140 kg) must not be ex-
ceeded. Every change of use must be agreed with the manufacturer.
Every incorrect or improper use of the equipment as well as the non-observance of these original op-
erating instructions shall lead to the exclusion of any liability of the manufacturer.
13.3 Keeping an Inspection Log Book
The manufacturer recommends that the operating company keeps an inspection log book with the
following entries:
Date and name of the trained operator of the UNIDRIVE
Operating time of the equipment in hours / lifting heights
Operating time of the lifting gear and the connectors
Recording of incidents and actions taken
Date and results report of regular periodic inspections
14. Description of the UNIDRIVE Working Device
When using the UNIDRIVE as a working device it is an integral part of equipment which consists of
various individual products from the field of personal protective equipment against falls which have all
been separately tested and approved. Exclusively only the components listed below must be used.
The use of other components or the replacement of individual parts is forbidden and leads to the im-
mediate exclusion of any liability of the manufacturer.
