Commissioning
Observe EN 12056-4 for the commissioning.
5.1
Checking the system
Check the following points before commissioning:
Correct installation of the pump(s)
Fixing of all removable components
Leak-tightness of the system
Mains voltage (max. deviation ± 10 %)
Correct fit of the elements for level detection
System is clean and free of building debris
5.2
System commissioning
Always avoid the pumps running dry (air is drawn in) for longer periods (> 30 seconds). The pumps can become dam-
aged.
Do not activate pumps in manual operation if the system tank is not filled to at least minimum level.
5.2.1
Carrying out initialisation
Enter data in accordance with the control unit display. Follow the instructions enclosed with the control unit if necessary.
5.2.2
Functional check
Switch the system off (pull out mains plug if necessary).
Open the cover plate on the system.
Fill the system tank with water until the switching level of the system is exceeded.
Switch the system on (insert mains plug if necessary).
If installed, check whether the control unit is initialised.
Pump starts up automatically.
The pump pumps out water until the switch-off level is reached (pump head visible again).
Pump switches off automatically.
Check the control unit for errors/alarm signals. In the event of errors/alarm signals, contact KESSEL Customer Services.
