VI. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Always unplug the power cord from the power outlet before cleaning or
maintenance of the unit.
A. MAINTENANCE OF THE APPLIANCE :
1. Do not use chemicals or detergents for cleaning, which could easily damage or deform
your device.
2. Clean the air conditioner with a damp cloth and dried.
B. MAINTENANCE AIR FILTER :
For best efficiency, the air filter should be cleaned after 100 hours of use.
-To clean :
Stop the machine and remove the top air filter.
Clean and replace the air filter : if obvious dirt, wash the filter in warm soapy water, rinse
and dry before replacing it in its compartment.
If the air conditioner use in extremely dusty environment, clean the air filter every 2 weeks.
Never use the appliance without filter.
The lower filter of the device is not removable. However, it is advisable to vacuum directly
on this part.
C. MAINTENANCE AFTER USE:
1. If you plan not to use the device for an extended period
2. Remove the rubber plug from the drain opening (bottom of the device) to drain the
apparatus, in the event of prolonged non-use of the air conditioner.
3. During half day and in good weather, to operate the unit in FAN only mode so that it
dries in and prevent it from mold.
4. Turn off and unplug the unit.
5. Clean the air filter and reinstall it.
6. Remove air hoses and store them carefully. Seal the hole hermetically.
D. DRAIN THE WATER TANK :
When the water tank is full
flush the water tank.
4. When the water has drained, replace the rubber stopper on the orifice drain and screw
the protective cap.
