POSSIBLE CAUSES
Water tank is empty
Water tank is not securely in place
Machine is not turned on

Steam Dial is not in 'Steam' position
Steam Wand is blocked
Not enough steam
Milk is not fresh and cold
The unit appears to be 'on' but the
machine ceases to operate
No espresso beans in hopper
WHAT TO DO
Refer to step 1 – 'Filling The Water Tank', page 34 .

Ensure the machine is plugged in, switched on at the power
outlet and the POWER button is pressed to 'on'.
Refer to step 1 – 'Filling The Water Tank', page 34.
Turn the steam dial to the 'Steam' position.
Use the pin on the cleaning tool to clear the opening. If the
steam wand continues to be blocked remove the tip of the
steam wand using the fitting in the middle of the cleaning
tool. Refer to 'Care and Cleaning', page 53.

Use cold fresh milk. Refer to 'The Art of Texturing Milk',
page 41.
The safety thermal-cut may have activated due to the pump
or grinder overheating. Turn the machine off and allow it to
cool for about 30-60 minutes.
