Use of aggressive cleaning
agents can damage the automat-
ic gun.
→ Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents.
Use only suitable cleaning fluids
for cleaning.
→ Use neutral cleaning agent with
pH-value of 6–8.
→ Do not use acids, alkalis,
bases, paint stripper, unsuitable
regenerates or other aggressive
cleaning agents.
Immersing the automatic gun in
the cleaning fluid can cause cor-
rosion. → Do not immerse auto-
matic gun in cleaning fluid.
Improper cleaning tools can dam-
age the bores and have a nega-
tive effect on the spray pattern.
→ Use only SATA cleaning brush-
es.
→ Never use ultra-sonic cleaning
equipment.
12. Troubleshooting
The troubleshooting chart below
lists malfunctions, causes and rem-
edies.
If it is not possible to rectify a
malfunction with the remedies de-
scribed, send the automatic gun in
to the SATA Service Department
(see Chap. 13 for address).
