Checking the charge status of the
rechargeable battery
The charge status indicator (01/3) is on the upper
handle.
It has three segments. The segments light up or
flash, depending on the battery charge status.

Before maintenance, care and cleaning work,
always switch off the appliance. Remove the
rechargeable battery.

Always wear protective gloves during mainte-
nance, care and cleaning work.

Maintenance schedule
Before every use

Perform visual inspection.
■
Check the safety devices, control elements
and all screw connections for damage and
secure fitting.

Replace damaged parts before operation.
After each use
■
Remove the rechargeable battery from the
appliance and store in a frost-protected area.
8.2
Cleaning the aerator drum
IMPORTANT! Danger from water. Water in
the appliance causes short-circuits and destroys
electrical components.

Do not spray the appliance with water.
■
Only use a broom or a brush for cleaning.
1. Stop the appliance and wait until the aerator
drum has stopped.
2. Remove the battery from the appliance.
3. Tilt the appliance onto the side and clean the
aerator drum with a broom or handbrush.
9 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION
CAUTION! Risk of injury. Sharp-edged
and moving appliance parts can lead to injury.

NOTE For malfunctions that are not listed in
this table or that you cannot resolve yourself,
please contact our customer service.
Remedy
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Insert the rechargeable battery cor-
rectly.
Warm up the rechargeable battery
slightly or allow it to cool down.
Wait until the motor protection switch
switches the appliance on again.
