Heating circuit connection:
This model has, both on the left and on the right side, two 1" coupling nuts.
We will use the upper one to connect the heating circuit outlet (feed) and the
lower one to connect the return heating circuit. We can use either the right
coupling nuts or the left ones (whichever is better for the installation); we will
obviously need to cover the other two coupling nuts, which we are not using,
with the corresponding tops.
Additionally, it has a ½" coupling nut to insert the temperature probe for the
security system, and another two 3/8" coupling nuts which are the stainless
steel coil inlet and outlet of the security system.
Both the connection and the heating circuit need to be installed by
professionals.
The circuit must have the corresponding security measures.
This model must never be installed with a thermo-syphon; it has to be installed
in a circuit with a booster pump. It is advisable to install the start-stop
thermostat of the pump the closest possible to the hot water outlet of the
boiler.
Once the fireplace has been connected to the heating circuit, we will fill the
circuit and check the performance for 2-3 days, dismissing any possible leaks.
Once this has been checked, we will we able to cover the fireplace.
We should design a heating circuit whose performance to the maximum
power does not make the water exceeding 90ºC in order to avoid over-
temperatures and over-pressures.
In the event of the circuit water reaching high temperatures, which can cause
a heat excess (boiling water), this model includes a security system consisting
of an stainless steel coil which is in contact with the boiler water and, through
the appropriate connections, it dissipates the heat excess (please see the
installation basic scheme.) Furthermore, it is advisable to have other circuits in
the system to dissipate the heat, like a heat leak radiator, a thermal waste-gate
valve, a cold water intake, etc.
The circuit must have a petcock in the lower part in order to make the drain
easier.
