Hard adjustment:
Tighten the axle kingpin nut (1) tighter.
Warning! - Accident risk
To ensure the self-locking protection of the axle
spindle nut, the self-locking ring of the axle king-
pin must sit completely on the screw. Otherwise
the nut can loosen while riding.

Maintenance

Replacing the rollers (Fig. C)
Rollers wear out. This wear depends on many
factors, such as, for example, the terrain,
the size and weight of the user, the weather
conditions, the material of the rollers and their
hardness, etc. It is necessary to replace them
now and then.
The replacement of worn-out or unevenly worn
rollers should always be done in pairs. If you
want to use rollers with new ball bearings, only
the following steps are necessary:
1. Loosen the axle nut (2) from the axle (3).
2. Take off the roller (4) and put a new roller
with new ball bearings on the axle. Don't
forget the washers (7) on both sides of the
roller.
3. Add new screw locking varnish to the axle
nut and tighten it. The roller should not have
any play in it but should not be so tight that it
won't roll.
Cleaning and replacing the ball
bearings (Fig. C)
The ball bearings should be checked at regular
intervals, as well as after riding on wet, dusty, or
oily surfaces. If the ball bearings get wet, they
must be wiped dry with a cloth immediately. If
damage occurs, replace the ball bearings.
Only use ball bearings that are approved for
this skateboard.
1. Remove the roller as described.
2. Pop off one bearing (5) by pressing on the
spacer (6) carefully with a screwdriver and
remove the spacer.
3. Pop off the other bearing (5) by pressing on it
with a screwdriver. Make sure not to damage
the ring of the ball bearing with the tool or
lose the spacer.

4. Insert the new ball bearing right onto the
spacer and stick it in the roller. The ball bear-
ing must not protrude or tilt.
5. Put the roller on the axle. Make sure not to
forget the washers.
6. Coat the axle nut with new screw locking
varnish and tighten it.

• Regular maintenance and cleaning contributes
to the safety and preservation of the skate-

the rollers.
