01. Safety
The following applies to any work carried out on the spreader:
► Only trained personnel equipped with safety gloves may carry out the
assembly work!
► Completely empty the spreader and park it according to the instructions in
the operating manual! (slider open, return spring released)
► Switch the tractor off and remove the ignition key!
► Disconnect the universal drive shaft and the electrical and hydraulic
connections!
► Keep the protective grid on the spreader closed!
► Observe the operating manual of the spreader! Especially the chapter
"Safety".
If the spreader is connected to the tractor, the hydraulic unit or the
QUANTRON unit:
► Keep sufficient distance to the metering slide and all moving parts of the
spreader.
