a) Put the front of the skid plate on the front blade
block shaft pin.
b) Push the rear of the skid plate up against the
rear blade block shaft until you hear a click.
15. Install the blade block guard. Align the 2 knobs of the
blade block guard with the holes in the blade block.
Turn the 2 knobs of the blade block guard and
tighten until it is fully attached to the blade block.
16. Model Soff-Cut 150: Lift the front and rear of the skid
plate to make sure that the blade moves freely
through the skid plate.
17. Make sure that the Lexan
and down.
18. Push the handle down and pull the blade release
lever to slowly lower the blade into the concrete.
To adjust the blade depth (Soff-
Cut 150D)
CAUTION: The radius and V-blade depth of
a cut is set at maximum depth at the factory.
Do not adjust unless it is necessary. Adjust
only for small, thin cuts. Do not increase the
depth. That can cause a bevel cut.

cover moves freely up
1. Loosen the jam nut for the depth stop adjustment
counterclockwise.
2. Turn the depth adjustment bolt clockwise. Each full
revolution of the depth adjustment bolt decreases
the cut width by ⅛ in.
3. Loosen the jam nut for the plunge adjustment screw
counterclockwise. Push down the rear of the safety
frame to make sure that the wheels are flat on the
ground.
4. Turn the plunge adjustment screw clockwise by hand
until it touches the guide wheel shaft.
5. Loosen the plunge adjustment screw a ¼ turn
counterclockwise. Tighten the jam nut for the plunge
adjustment screw to lock it.
6. Cut in a saw joint for approximately 1 ft to make sure
that you have got the correct decorative cut.

Examine the skid plate for damage.
•
Examine the slot of the skid plate for too much wear.
