Das Vorbild
Eine Reihe von Heeresfeldbahn-Lokomotiven versahen nach
Ende des 2. Weltkriegs auf verschiedenen Schmalspurstre-
cken ihren friedlichen Dienst. Die Vorbildlok kam mit zwei
Schwestern zu den Jüterborg-Luckenwalder-Kreisklein-
bahnen südlich von Berlin.
Nach der Stilllegung dieser Bahn gelangten sie 1966 auf
die Ostseeinsel Rügen, wo eine der Loks heute zwischen
Puttbus und Göhren verkehrt.

The Prototype
After World War II, a number of locomotives from the
Heeresfeldbahn (military field railways) were peacefully em-
ployed on various narrow gauge railways in East Germany.
The prototype of this model was one of three locos of this
type operating on a small line south of Berlin.
After that railway was abandoned, the locos went to the
Baltic Island of Rügen. Today, one of the locos continues to
operate on this scenic island to the delight of tourists.
