Changing the sanding belt
CAUTION! Unplug from the
power source!
Pull the sanding belt tensioning lever (8)
out of the sanding belt guide. This
relaxes the belt and allows it to be
removed from the guide rollers and
replaced with a new one (Figure 2).
CAUTION! Ensure that the
sanding belt is free from bends.
When changing the belt, ensure that the
direction of the arrow on the inside of
the sanding belt matches the arrow
marking (16) on the housing of the unit.
The sanding belt must sit flush with the
right-hand edge of the sanding disc
(11). Return the tensioning lever back to
position. Operate the belt adjuster (5) to
adjust the belt run (Figure 3). Turning
the adjuster screw left or right with the
machine running allows you to exactly
set the belt to run straight and parallel
to the right-hand edge of the sanding
disc (11). If you do not perform this
adjustment, the sanding belt will be
damaged. Sanding belts that show
considerable wear should be replaced.
Dust collection mechanism
• The electrical tool has mechanisms
that enable you to extract or collect
the sanding dust.
Vacuum adapter (14)
• To connect external vacuuming

engage accordingly (Figure 6). On the
vacuum connector (d), the extraction
