7 – Installation and setting
Remove all components from the
packaging and remove all packaging
materials.
Compare the contents of the pack-
age with the scope of delivery and
make sure that all of the parts are
included.
In the event of missing or damaged
parts, consult your dealer before
starting to assemble the product.
Setting the disc cover (Figure 3)
The position of the disc covers (5)
can be adapted to the relevant
working conditions. To do this, re-
lease the unlocking lever (6) and
swivel the disc cover into the de-
sired working position. Tighten the
unlocking lever again.
If the unlocking lever is difficult to
operate, or the disc cover remains
moveable after tightening, the

clamping lever can be adjusted ac-
cordingly by loosening or tightening
the clamping nut with an Allen key.
The open disc cover included in the
scope of delivery for this item is de-
signed solely for use with grinding
discs.
CAUTION! The closed side of
the disc cover must always
face the operator to protect
against sparks and shavings.
Disc cover for separating work
Separating work must be carried out
with a protective mechanism de-
signed specifically for this purpose.
The protective mechanism can be
ordered from the specified service
address as named in the warranty
card under the article number
2002558.
Assembly and removal of the disc
cover
Change the disc cover according to
requirement and usage.
To do this, release the unlocking
lever (6) and, if necessary, the
clamping nut (6a), to enable the disc
cover to be rotated and removed
from the guide groove on the drive
head (11). Assemble in the reverse
order.
