7. Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
8. Proceed as described on the rice packet.
9. Some sorts of rice must continue to soak for another 15 minutes under the closed lid.
Steaming
You may also use the rice cooker for steaming. For this purpose, you may use the sieve.
Especially vegetables are suited for steaming as they lose less of their nutritional value as
through any other preparation type.

Green beans
Asparagus, Spinach,
brown and red beans
Zucchini
Pour the measured amount of water into the inner pot and place it into the rice cooker.
Fill your foods into the sieve, place it into the inner pot and close the lid.
ATTENTION!
When filling in cooking goods, do not exceed the height of the sieve at any time.
Connect the power plug of the rice cooker to a power socket and press down the
ON/OFF switch.
Keep the lid closed during steaming if possible. When open, the rice cooker loses the
steam required for steam cooking. You may compensate the loss of steam by adding
water.
WARNING! Danger of scalds!
Do not touch or open the device during operation. It may result in scalds caused by
the escaping steam.
Press up the ON/OFF switch after steaming time has elapsed.
Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
Do not allow the foods to remain in the inner pot too long after steaming.
In order to avoid damaging the non-stick coating of the inner pot, do not use metal
spoons or metal scoops at any time. Please use the provided rice spoon.
