The answering machine's vocal output is German and cannot be changed.
Setting the weekday and time
The weekday and time of receipt is announced when each message is played
back. Setting the weekday and time; . Page 165.
Maximum recording time
The answering machine can store up to 99 messages. The maximum total recor-
ding time is 15 minutes. The maximum length of a message is 2 minutes. When
there is no memory capacity available to record new messages, no further mes-
sages are recorded. The Display shows Memory full.
Ringing delay for taking a call
You can select from 2 to 8 ringing tones or the Time Saver setting for pre−remote
access free of charge. The free pre−remote access function enables you to deter-
mine whether new messages have been left on your answering machine.

If new message have been recorded on your answering machine, your call is
taken after 2 rings.

If no messages have been recorded, the call is taken after 6 rings. Replace
the receiver before the 6th ring. No charges are accrued.

Call screening
You can listen−in to the caller without actually taking the call.


Taking calls already answered by the TAM
It is possible to take a call even if the answering machine has already begun to
take it. Recording of the message is stopped in this case.
