10. INSTALL THE ARM LIGHTS
Installation of the LED light kit increases the visibility of the arm.
The LED rope lights will sit in the top groove of the arm, and will
be connected to the control board using the supplied connector
and cord. Follow the instructions in Fig. 19.
• Plug the connector to the end of the rope light, making sure
the pins make good connections with the wires
• Measure and cut the rope light. It should be cut longer than
the arm and the excess gets wrapped into the end of it as
shown in . Take care to not force it which will damage the
LED's. CUT ONLY WHERE THE MARKS ARE
• Put the black cap on the end of the rope light

• Route the cable following to the path shown using zip ties.
Make sure to go over the I-Beam as shown in
• Connect the two wires to the the top and middle terminals
of J16 on the electronic board.
• Configure the board according to the available modes (refer
to Par 4.12 in the control board section)
NOTE: Make sure the two connectors make good contact
with the wires inside the rope light. Should the lights still
not turn on, reverse the connection polarity. You can also
use a 24V battery for this test
IMPORTANT: Once verified that the the lights turn on
properly apply heat to the heat shrink tubing at the end of
the connector to seal it to the rope light.
