12. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
13. Use only the specified type of battery. The warranty will be void if incorrect bat-
teries are used. Contact and warranty information can be found on the last page
of these instructions.
14. There is a risk of explosion if the batteries are replaced by an incorrect type. Dis-
pose of used batteries according to the instructions. Use only 1.5V AA(AM-3/LR6)
size alkaline batteries for the baby unit (batteries not supplied). Use only 1.4V
AAA(AM-4/LR03) Ni-MH size rechargeable batteries for the parent unit (batteries
supplied).
15. Remove the rechargeable batteries from the unit when the product is stored for a
long time and is not in use.
16. Unplug the power adaptors before replacing batteries.

Caution

1.
Use and store the appliance at a temperature between 0oC and 40oC.
2.
Do not expose the baby unit or parent unit to extreme cold or heat or to direct
sunlight. Do not put the baby unit or the parent unit close to a heating source.
3.
Make sure the baby unit and the adaptor cord are
always out of reach of the baby (at least _0cm away).
4.
Never place the baby unit inside the baby's cot or play-
pen.
5.
Never cover the parent unit or the baby unit with any-
thing (eg. a towel or blanket).
6.
Always place alkaline batteries of the correct type in the baby unit.
7.
Always use the included rechargeable batteries for the parent unit to avoid a
hazard.
8.
If you place the parent unit next to a transmitter or another appliance the con-
nection with the baby unit may be lost.
9.
Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as bright sunshine or fire.
