Connecting the water inlet hose
9. If the water inlet hose is not already installed, it must be screwed into the washing machine.
The hose with the blue mark is for supplying cold water only.
10. Screw the inlet hose onto the tap by hand and tighten the nut.
CAUTION:
• Do not make a knot in the hose!
• The washing machine must not be connected to the
mixer tap of a non-pressurised water heater.
• Check that the connections are watertight by turning
the water tap on fully.
• If the hose is too short, replace it with a pressure-
resistant hose of adequate length (1000 kPa min,
compliant with the EN 50084 standard).
• Regularly check the inlet hose for any weakness or
cracks, and replace it if necessary.
• The washing machine may be connected without a
non-return valve.
