use the appliance for the first time .

MIN

MODE
This mode deactivates the 2 temperature controls and automatically
sets the temperature of the two 2 plates to minimum (90°C) . It is
perfect for reheating or keeping food warm without cooking again .
• Once the plates are in position, plug the appliance into an electrical
outlet then turn the middle control to "Min" . The red indicator light
for the middle control will start to blink . Close the grill lid to allow
it to preheat .
• When the appliance has heated to the temperature of the selected
mode, the indicator light will stop blinking and stay lit .
• Select the cooking position (see section 3C) then place the food to
be reheated on the plates .
Note: This mode can also be used for cooking that has been done in
Manual or "Max" to keep the food warm .

MAX
MODE
This mode deactivates the 2 temperature controls and automatically
sets the temperature of the 2 plates to maximum (250°C) .
• Once the plates are in place, plug the appliance into an electrical
outlet then turn the middle control to "Max" . The red indicator light
for the middle control will start to blink .
• Close the lid and allow the grill to heat up .
• When the appliance has reached the temperature of the selected
cooking mode, the indicator light will stop blinking and stay lit .
• Select the cooking position (see section 3C) then place the food on
the plates to start your cooking .
F. Booster feature
This feature heats the upper and/or lower plate to 270°C for 2 minutes .
It is ideal for quickly searing foods at the beginning of cooking .
• Once the plates are in place, plug the appliance into an electrical
outlet then turn the middle control to the position of your choice
(Manual or "Max") as explained in the preceding section .
• Close the lid of the grill to allow the appliance to preheat .
• Press the Booster button(s) that correspond to the upper and/or
lower plate(s) . A circle of red light around the selected button(s) will

start to flash .
Note: During the Booster cycle, the two temperature controls for the
plates are deactivated .
• When the appliance has heated up to the selected temperature, the
circle of light around the control(s) will stop blinking and stay lit for
2 minutes .
• The cycle is complete in 2 minutes . The circle of light around the
selected Booster button(s) will go out and the temperature of each
plate will automatically be set to the selected setting .
• To cancel or stop the Booster function before the end of the cycle,
simply re-press the Booster button(s) a second time . The circle of
light around the control(s) will go out and the temperature on the
plate(s) will automatically be set to the selected setting .
Note: The Booster function can be started at any time during cooking,
except after the first pre-heat . If you press the Booster button when
the indicator light is off, the button will flash three times quickly and
then turn off to indicate that it is still hot .
G. Turning the appliance off
• When your food is cooked, turn the middle control to the "O" position
to turn off your grill then unplug it .
• Griddler Pro will turn itself off automatically after two hours of use .
The indicator light for the middle control will start flashing red to let
you know that the grill has switched to stand-by mode . To reactivate
it, simply turn one of the controls .
