OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Remove the lens cap from the objective lens (2).
• Activate the device by pressing the "ON" button (2) - a stable green indicator will light up.
• Locate an object within 20 to 30 meters.
• Rotate the eyepiece (4) until you clearly see the frame of the display and a fine black grid on it.
• To turn on the IR Illuminator (6) press the "IR" button (3). A red indicator will light up.
• Rotate the objective lens (5) until you see a sharp image of the object. The use of the IR-
illuminator in the optimal mode prolongs operating time.
• When changing the viewing distance, try to see a sharp and high-quality image by rotating
the objective lens (5). Do not rotate the eyepiece (4) - the device has already been individually
adjusted.
• After use switch off the device by pressing the "ON" button (2) - the green indicator will go out.
FOCUSING yOUR DEVICE
First of all, look through the device and initially ensure the image in the eyepiece (4) is sharp, and
optimally adjusted to suit your own eyesight (dioptre adjustment). Finally, turn the lens barrel (5),
to focus the image based on the distance from the object being observed.
STORAGE
Remove the battery if the device will not be used for longer than two months. Always store the
device in its case. Always store the device in a dry, well-ventilated area away from heating/air
conditioning vents and other heating devices.
NOTES on cleaning
Separate the device from the power supply before cleaning (remove the battery).
Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use any cleaning fluid to avoid
damaging the electronics.
Protect the device from dust and moisture! Store it in the supplied bag or transportation packa-
ging. The batteries should be removed from the unit if it has not been used for a long time.
Clean the lenses (eyepiece and/or lens) with a soft and lint-free cloth only (e.g. microfibre). Do not
apply excess pressure to the cloth so as to avoid scratching the lenses.
To remove more stubborn dirt, moisten the cleaning cloth with an eyeglass-cleaning solution and
wipe the lenses gently.
