Inserting and
replacing the
loupe component
Press the adapter of the loupe
component (4) into the optics
mount of the carrier arm (3) until
it engages. If possible, hold the
loupe component with a soft
cloth or something similar in order
to prevent soiling of the optical
surfaces. To optimize image
quality, the name of the loupe
component ("D4" or "D6") – as
well as the ZEISS trademark on the
gripping surface of the clip – must
be legible from the front.
If you wish to clean or change the
loupe component simply pull it out
of the optics mount.
