5. Place slotted flange behind pre-installed 1/2" bolt and washer. Align hole in plate to threads in
housing and secure with 3/8" bolt, flat washer and lock washer, tighten to 30 lbs.-ft. Tighten
1/2" bolt to 75 lbs.-ft.
SLOTTED FLANGE GOES BEHIND PRE-INSTALLED
1/2" BOLT & WASHER.

Screw compression cylinder assembly into threaded end of pre-installed clevis/yoke on driver
side assembly until end of threaded rod bottoms out to the inside of clevis/yoke; tighten jam
nut. Note: The retaining clip for the compression cylinder must face the pivot stop.

THE WASHER AND THEN RE-TORQUE TO
75 LBS.-FT.
